# Query time

Under **Settings → Application Settings → Query time**, admins can monitor the performance by showing the time taken to load each chart. This visibility helps teams understand performance trends, troubleshoot delays, and optimize user experience—especially when working with large datasets or live connections.

Displaying query time offers transparency into system performance and can help:

* Identify slow-performing charts
* Improve responsiveness for end users

If enabled, this displays the time it takes to execute and render each chart query.

### Show query time in Explore (Vizpads)

Enables the display of query execution time within Vizpads for each chart.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.tellius.com/tellius-6.2/settings/application-settings/query-time.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
