# Assistant Settings

Under Settings → Intelligence → Kaiya & AI → Assistant Settings, admins can modify how the AI assistant is presented to users: what it is called and what logo appears beside it. These are branding settings only. They change what users see, not what the assistant does or how it answers.

#### Rename Tellius Digital Assistant

By default the assistant is labeled "Tellius Digital Assistant" on the Assistant page. Type a different name into this field and click **Update** to replace it.

Use this when your organization refers to its analytics assistant by an internal name, so users see familiar wording rather than vendor terminology. The name you enter appears in place of "Tellius Digital Assistant" on the **Assistant** page.

#### Update Logo

Replaces the image shown as the assistant's logo.

The current logo appears in a preview box. Two buttons sit beside it:

* **Replace:** opens a file picker so you can upload a new image.
* **Reset to default logo:** discards your custom image and restores the logo Tellius ships with.

**File requirements:** The accepted formats: `.png`, `.jpg`, `.svg` and the maximum file size: 5 MB

{% hint style="info" %}
Use `.svg` where you can. Because SVG is a vector format, it stays sharp at any display size, while `.png` and `.jpg` can look blurry when scaled up.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
This page is not about Kaiya. The Tellius Assistant is a separate feature from Kaiya Conversational AI. It has no connection to Kaiya, LLM configuration, or any AI-generated behavior. The settings here only rename and re-brand the Tellius Assistant on the **Assistant** page.\
\
If you are looking to configure Kaiya, use **Kaiya Configuration**, **LLM Configuration**, or **System Prompts** instead.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.tellius.com/tellius-6.3/settings/kaiya-and-ai/assistant-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
