Patch 6.3.0.1
Tellius 6.3.0.1 centers on a major expansion of Kaiya's document export. Kaiya can now generate finished PowerPoint, PDF, and Word deliverables directly from a conversation, with every figure (in both the summary and the exported file) drawn from the underlying data so the output reflects exactly what the analysis computed. Together these changes extend how teams move from a question to a polished, shareable result.
📈 Enhancements
Export from Kaiya (PowerPoint, PDF, and Word)
Kaiya can now produce finished PowerPoint, PDF, and Word documents directly from a conversation through dedicated export skills. Exported artifacts appear inline in the Kaiya chat, so a deliverable is ready to open or download right where it was requested. Export of Deep Insights and scheduled Missions now draws from the analysis dataframes, so the document reflects the computed results.
The underlying data now serves as the single source of truth for both generated summaries and exported documents, so every figure traces back to what the analysis actually computed. Exported decks also adhere more closely to the configured brand template for consistent, presentation-ready output.
Natural-Language Export Format Recognition
When Kaiya asks which format to use for an export, it now recognizes full-form and natural-language variants so the export proceeds without an extra clarification step.
Kaiya Credit and Usage Controls
This release introduces enforcement of Kaiya credit and usage limits at the point of action. Once a user's credits are exhausted, credit-consuming actions such as Create App and Export are gated with a clear message, and Quick Start and Home Page query triggers are held back before a query is initiated rather than after redirection. Administrators can also search and filter the credit-limits list to locate a specific user directly, without scrolling through the full list.
Redesigned Settings Experience and Updated Chart Flow Now Default
New deployments now use the redesigned Settings experience and the updated Kaiya chart flow by default, bringing the latest configuration interface and visualization rendering to fresh environments out of the box.
Single and Multi-Select Filter Configuration
Filter configuration now includes an option to present a filter as single-select, complete with a clear control to reset the selection. In full mode, single-select filters render as a radio-button list for quicker, more deliberate choices.
Descending-First Column Sorting
Column sorting in tables and pivots now follows a descending-first cycle, so a single click on a column header surfaces the highest values first — aligning with how most analytical reviews begin.
Clearer, Specific Messaging
Platform messages now distinguish between different conditions and surface a clear, specific message for each, providing more accurate guidance when an action needs attention. For example, when an App's underlying Business View is no longer available, the message now explains that specific condition rather than reporting a generic unavailable state.
Design-System Notifications
The legacy notification banner has been updated to the current design-system toast style, bringing notifications in line with the rest of the interface for a more consistent visual experience. Notifications now also clear appropriately when switching between modules.
Kaiya Configuration (LLMs) Refinements
Under the Kaiya configuration experience, the LLM configuration modal now retains in-progress entries if it is closed by an outside click, supports saving a draft configuration, and provides clearer validation guidance.
🛠️ Minor Fixes
Kaiya
Refined Home Page handling so natural-language queries initiate as expected when submitted.
Improved how time phrases such as "latest month", "last week", and "this week" are resolved, so they consistently select the most recent available month/week for comparison.
Refined the initial-query experience in the app-creation flow so the clarification step appears on the first query, without requiring a page refresh.
Ensured the Kaiya summary card renders consistently across conversations.
Scoped the "Create App" action to the contexts where app creation applies, so the control appears only where it is relevant.
Refined CSV upload notifications so a single loader message is shown for the duration of a file load.
Refined the Kaiya usage settings view, including pagination on usage tables, chart display within the card layout, and a clearer confirmation step when removing a per-user credit limit.
Ensured the domain skills view loads smoothly after a new Skill is created.
Kaiya - Export and Missions
On the Mission page, the PDF response type is now available, and template selection is aligned to each format so PowerPoint templates accept PowerPoint files and PDF and Word templates accept their corresponding formats.
Refined export status messaging so it reflects the item being export.
Ensured that Missions exporting to PowerPoint or PDF display their analysis steps when scheduled or run, and preserve earlier conversation messages on scheduled runs, providing clearer and more complete visibility into the work behind the export.
Refined export behavior when triggered by mentioning "Export" in a conversation, so an existing analysis is exported directly rather than initiating a new run.
Updated the wording in the Kaiya export document flow for added clarity.
Refined editing of scheduled Missions so existing schedules open cleanly and retain the Mission name during edits.
Refined step editing in classic workflows so updates to steps are applied and saved as expected.
Refined the two-panel layout used across Apps, Missions, and export views, including Business View name truncation and a minimum left-panel width for comfortable spacing around actions.
Kaiya Apps
Refined App editing so changes can be applied after switching to a specific App version.
Improved isolation of Remix Apps so edits to a Remix remain separate from shared versions, and ensured shared Remix conversations display their history on open.
Ensured the Business View header reflects the App's Business View, falling back to the conversation's Business View only when an App Business View is not set.
Ensured the Business View shown in the App header stays consistent with the Business View used for the active step when switching Business Views mid-conversation.
Kaiya Architect
Refined the Kaiya Architect interface, including spacing when uploading an image and smoother dropdown interaction.
Vizpads
In Vizpads, refined section selection in both view and edit modes, including cloned sections.
In Vizpads, ensured pinned filter ordering is retained in the side filter panel when filters are reordered, pinned, or unpinned.
In Vizpads, ensured section pinned filter values display in a cloned tab.
In Vizpads, refined how pinned filters refresh when reverting changes in view mode, so global, tab, and section filters reflect the reverted state.
In Vizpads, ensured the compare condition in column filters reflects the custom range selected by the user when comparing two custom periods.
In Vizpads, ensured a renamed column displays its new name while the original column name is retained for percentage-change, absolute-change, and market-share calculations.
In Vizpads, ensured KPI chart text auto-scales when a chart is first created within a section.
In Vizpads, refined the edit control display at higher screen resolutions.
Refined the layout of the sample prompts on the Home Page for a cleaner presentation.
Refined font and typography consistency across Data, Search, Predict, Vizpads, scheduled Missions, and Settings.
Insights and Charts
Refined sorting in the explainable AI chart so the selected sort order is applied.
Ensured the pivot table personalization insight populates the selected measure by default.
Ensured the interactions popup opens across all data points in the confidence range chart.
Ensured insights created from a Vizpad apply global and tab filters, including for year-over-year comparison views.
Filters
Refined the filter template text shown for date filters using a compare condition, so it reflects the selected date range.
Refined the column-level filter template text for compare-date filters for clearer wording.
Data
Refined dataset import so a scripted dataset can be imported by mapping its parent table to an existing dataset.
Refined dataset and Business View creation so the continue action is held when an entered name already exists, prompting a unique name.
Strengthened validation of Snowflake OAuth connection details so the configured username is verified before the connection is saved.
Improved the reliability of how Business View configurations are stored and retrieved.
Authentication
Refined the password reset experience so that, once a reset completes, the user is returned to the login screen with a confirmation message.
