Patches 5.6.1.5, 5.6.1.6, 5.6.1.7, and 5.6.1.8

In Tellius 5.6.1.5, we’ve added Amazon Bedrock as an LLM provider and let you create multiple LLM configs, assigning them to General, Code, and Reasoning use cases. Here’s what’s new in 5.6.1.6: a streamlined enable/disable user control for admins, plus smarter sync that can auto-deactivate users outside your source groups. We also made multiple minor fixes across Vizpads, Insights, AutoML Transformations, Dynamic Parameters, Data & governance, Scripting, pivot-table conditional formatting, and more—so analyses render correctly, totals match what you see, and errors surface clearly.

5.6.1.5

📈 Enhancement

Bedrock support for Kaiya LLM configuration

Added Amazon Bedrock as an LLM provider alongside OpenAI, Gemini, and Azure OpenAI. You can now create multiple LLM configurations and assign which one powers General, Code, and Reasoning intelligence use-cases.

🛠️ Minor fixes

  1. In Vizpads, fixed an issue where visuals using calculated columns saved with non-default aggregations (e.g., sum/avg) could fail to render.

  2. Optimized KPI charts in Vizpads for faster, smoother rendering. This includes eliminating redundant re-renders, memoizing selectors, and tightening text styling for crisp, consistent visuals.

  3. In Vizpads:

    • Improved stability eliminates intermittent “loading” and keeps the Vizpad status/snackbar in sync while navigating and editing charts.

    • Formatting is now consistent: number, conditional, title, and text formatting apply reliably across all aggregations (including market share absolute/percent change), and work correctly with global, tab, chart, and control filters.

    • Under Vizpads → Formatting → Text Formatting, increased maximum font size for table headers and values to 22 pt.

  4. Resolved an intermittent page-load error in the Predict → AutoML → Transformations page; admins can now seamlessly access feature configurations.

  5. When you delete a metric, its related Insights are now auto-removed everywhere. Deletions now propagate across modules, preventing stale references.

  6. In tables and pivot tables of Vizpads,

    • Totals now recalculate correctly when you toggle Include Nulls, so column/row totals match the visible rows.

    • Fixed an edge case where disabling Include Nulls returned “No data” when using derived measures (e.g., Absolute Change).

    • Fixed the issue with “Not able to clone” banners when trying to clone Vizpad charts or tables; cloning is now reliable with improved timeouts and retries.

  7. In Insights, fixed an issue where using a formula column as the target measure could fail when creating trend drivers.

  8. Vizpad now shows a clear banner when a non-live Business View isn’t saved to the Fast Query Engine (FQE), with a quick action to Save to FQE so queries load correctly.

  9. Under Data → Prepare → Data → Statistics, restored the Profile and Outliers tabs in the Statistics sidebar for all columns and datasets. Improved async loading so the tabs update automatically once the analysis completes.

  10. Fixed a navigation issue where opening Data → Business View tab from a Vizpad could show a measure-date error.

  11. We standardized log formats across the application to ensure consistent and clear error reporting.

  12. Explorer and Discoverer users can now view available resources but are restricted from opening the Data module, regardless of where they navigate from.

  13. Under Data → Prepare → Data → Statistics, fixed a display issue where Unique Values could show higher than the total Count in the Statistics panel. The panel now validates and renders counts accurately across data types and high-cardinality columns

  14. In Vizpads, fixed a mismatch where control filter values could differ between a Vizpad tab and its charts, especially after Save/Revert or removing filter pills.

  15. Under Data → Prepare → Scripting, fixed the issue with editing an existing scripted dataset in place, where you can add/remove source datasets and update SQL, without having to save under a new name.

  16. In Vizpads, resolved the issue where charts (bubble, rich KPI, waterfall) failed to render when "Equals" operator was selected in the range slider.

  17. In Kaiya → Agent Library, fixed the empty-state message when there are no existing items in the Published Agents and Draft Agents tabs.

  18. In Vizpads, the following fixes were made to the conditional formatting of pivot tables:

    • Only valid “Apply formatting to” options are shown (row dimensions and eligible measures). Date fields now appear when they’re placed in rows, and pivot-specific tooltips are clearer.

    • In the Granularity field, when formatting a dimension, the rule automatically targets the lowest level and includes the correct parent levels.

    • Fixed “Does not equal / starts with / ends with” templates and corrected min/max detection.

  19. Under Data → Business View → Dynamic Parameters, fixed the issue with deleting all dynamic parameters from a Business View (including the last one) and searching after deleting.

  20. Under Data → Connect, fixed an issue where the “Creation Date” of a datasource showed UTC instead of your browser’s local time.

  21. In Projects, fixed the issue when you enter a Project name that’s already in use, an error message will be displayed prompting you to choose a different name.

5.6.1.6

📈 Enhancement

Enable/disable user accounts

Admins can now enable or disable users with a toggle directly in Settings → Users & Groups from both the Users and Groups tabs. Under Synchronization, a new option, Deactivate users outside the sync group, automatically disables users who aren’t in the configured source group(s) during sync. Disabled users are not removed from Tellius; to remove a user entirely, use Delete user. Inactive users who try to sign in now see a clear message: “Your account is inactive. Please contact your administrator”.

🛠️ Minor fixes

  1. Under Data → Business View, the Clear cache option is now hidden for users with View-only access. Owners, Admins, and users with edit access continue to see (and use) it when permitted.

  2. In Vizpads, converting a tab/control filter to a Global filter no longer creates a duplicate or shows the raw column name; it now moves the filter and preserves the display name.

  3. Under Settings → Users & Groups → Groups → Users, fixed an issue where the list of users now show a localized “Added on:” timestamp based on your timezone

  4. Long-running Snowflake queries in Live mode now auto-timeout to keep Vizpads responsive. Queries that exceed a configurable limit (default 5 minutes) are cancelled and return a clear timeout message, preventing slow jobs from blocking other requests.

  5. In Vizpads, when navigating across tabs, the blue loading bar now stops once all charts have fully loaded.

  6. In Vizpads, fixed the issue with using Measure-Date alignment in quick calculations (e.g., weekly/yearly rolling and absolute change).

  7. In Vizpads, resolved an issue where an error message was displayed if a control filter was saved with no value.

  8. In Vizpads, fixed an issue where adding the same measure multiple times with different aggregations (specifically Percentage and Market Share) could throw an error.

  9. Under Data → Business View, fixed a navigation bug that prevented switching to a different dataset after opening one.

5.6.1.7

🛠️ Minor fixes

  1. Improved reliability for embedded Vizpads so charts finish loading consistently, especially for bulk loads with row-level policies enabled.

  2. In Kaiya conversational AI, resolved an issue where View Data did not display the right values for table responses.

  3. In Vizpads, resolved the date ordering where you filter by Use Measure Date and sort by another date field, weekly results now appear in the correct chronological order.

  4. In Vizpads, fixed the issue with CSV export of detail tables, especially after switching from another chart or when “count of records” is in the Unused bucket.

  5. In Vizpads, fixed an issue where selecting Percentage together with Percentage Change didn’t render the chart. The extra Percentage option is now removed; use Market Share Change for that scenario instead.

5.6.1.8

🛠️ Minor fixes

  1. In Feed creation, resolved issues with the unexpected closing of email-notification, incorrect selection of the Include report checkbox and the Schedule a Refresh button.

  2. In Search, fixed an issue where saving the Search Guide and then clicking Refresh displayed an error message.

  3. In Search, admins can optionally allow Power Users to edit Search Guides for any Business View.
