Importing bulk filter values

Ramya Priya Updated by Ramya Priya

In local and global filters, users can include bulk values (upto 2000). This feature is particularly beneficial when dealing with large, extensive, or complex datasets. By allowing the import of bulk filter values, users can quickly apply multiple filter values, dramatically reducing the time spent configuring filters, especially for high-cardinality columns.

Once imported, the filter values are added as checkbox items in the filter dropdown, which users can further edit. This level of customization and flexibility ensures that users can refine their filters as needed, tailoring the data analysis to meet specific requirements.

  1. Click on any global or local filter and select the required dimension.
  2. Choose "In" or "Not in" as the Operator.
  3. The "+" button will appear next to the Value field.
  1. Click on the "+" button and the following window will be displayed.
  1. Include the filter values in the textbox, ensuring each value is on a separate line.
Please note that only a maximum of 2000 values can be included as filter values.
  1. Click on "Add" to include the filter values.
  2. Once the filter values are input, these values are added as checkbox items in the filter dropdown, which can be further edited if required.
  3. Click on "Apply" to apply the filter values, or click on "Clear" to dismiss the selected values.
