Understanding the different types of Insights

In Tellius, you'll encounter a variety of insightful analytical types, each designed to answer different business questions and enhance your understanding of your data. Let's break them down:

  1. Key Driver Insights: Ascertain the significant factors that sway a business outcome and reveal underlying patterns. These insights help identify variables that have a major impact on specific business outcomes. For instance, you might want to find out the key drivers influencing sales in a particular product segment.
  2. Trend Insights: Explore the reasons behind fluctuations in crucial business metrics over specific time periods. This provides you with an understanding of what caused changes in your key business metrics. For example, you could determine why the number of unit sales increased last month.
  3. Cohort Insights: Grasp the reasons behind differing performances among two cohorts. This analysis helps compare the behaviour or characteristics of two distinct groups. For example, you could investigate the differences in sales between Product A and Product B.
  4. Discoveries: Uncover hidden anomalies, trends, and correlations within your data. This insight type aims to highlight unexpected patterns or data points. For instance, you could uncover anomalies in the sales volume for 2023.
