In a dataset you can set an alert for a change in the dataset. Whenever, the particular change occurs in the dataset, Tellius sends an email to the specified email address.

You can create multiple alerts for different changes in the dataset.

  1. On the dataset Edit page, click the Alerts icon.
    The Alerts dialog box appears.
  2. Click the plus icon to create a new alert.
    The Schedule new Alert dialog box appears.
  3. In the Name field, enter the name of the alert.
  4. In the Email field, enter the email address to which you want to send the alert.
  5. In the Subject field, enter the subject of the alert message.
  6. Click the Aggregation field and select the aggregation for the column.
  7. Click the Column field and select the column that you want to monitor for the changes.
  8. Click the Operator field and select the operator that you want to use to check the column values with the specified value.
  9. In the Value field, enter the threshold value based on which you want to send alerts.
  10. Click the Save button.
    The new schedule alert is created and added in the list.
