Patch 6.0.2
Tellius v6.0.2 focuses on usability and performance optimization across Vizpads, Data, and Kaiya. This patch fixes a series of chart, filter, and formatting issues in Vizpads, improves Business View validation and sharing, and makes Kaiya’s queries, feedback, and metadata handling more robust.
🛠️ Minor fixes
Fixed the issue where, in Vizpads with multiple tabs, tables would revert to the master view’s time resolution instead of using each tab’s saved custom time resolution when switching between tabs.
In Vizpads, resolved an issue where charts could fail to render when applying Top/Bottom For Each filters “within dimension” on columns.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where table and detail table charts could not be selected or deselected after applying conditional formatting with “less than” filters.
Under Data → Business Views → Calculated Columns, introduced a hover tooltip to show the full column name and display name when they are truncated.
In Data, fixed the issue with validation/publishing Business Views (BVs) that use deduplication with many joined datasets and calculated columns. Preview is now turned off for these BVs in the Calculated Columns tab.
Enhanced Trend insights with a configuration flag that controls whether contributors are dropped when one time-period value is 0 and the other is non-zero.
In Vizpads, fixed the issue with selective filter behavior so only relevant charts are highlighted and available for selection.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where switching metrics on combo charts could show an error.
In Vizpads, resolved an issue where percentage calculated columns disappeared from the results when used with market share aggregations in charts.
Under Data → Business Views → Date Mapping, fixed an issue where the column name was displayed instead of the display name after refresh.
In Vizpads, enhanced Pivot Table so the new grid layout offers a more responsive layout, smoother interactions, and better handling of larger datasets. If you prefer the older layout, then switch back using the new “Use Classic Pivot” option.
Improved security for internal workflow orchestration services, restricting access to admins and super users only.
Improved Kaiya’s handling of insight responses so they map more reliably to the correct charts.
In Vizpads, resolved an issue where the Custom Formatting toggle under Number Formatting could become disabled right after being turned on in configuration settings.
Under Settings → Users & Groups → Users, fixed the error message shown when creating a user with a username that already exists, so admins now see a clear “Username already taken” message.
Under Data → Business Views, resolved an issue where new owners of shared Business Views could see a permission error when trying to publish.
Under Data → Business Views, fixed how sharing permissions are shown for Business Views. When a user has both view and edit access, the Share dialog now shows only the “Can edit” option, matching their highest level of permission.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where KPI and line charts using moving absolute change over date could show “No data” even when data was available.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where the interactive menu (Drill, Keep, Remove etc.) in Advanced Pivot Tables would not appear after enabling Show as Rows toggle.
Under Data → Prepare → Data, fixed an issue where the Python and SQL query editors stopped scrolling after a validation error.
Interactive users who don’t have permission to access the Data module will no longer see “Add New Connector” or dataset-creation buttons.
We fixed an issue where some Vizpad refresh jobs could fail while generating the PDF report, showing an error.
In Vizpads, resolved the issue where certain Explainable AI charts displayed an empty state and failed to render results.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where charts using measure-aligned date filters did not display the selection checkbox for selective filtering.
In Vizpads, resolved the issue where PPT export of all tabs swapped tab-level filters and tab names
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where filters in Custom Views sometimes showed outdated or missing changes after switching between Master and Custom views or tabs.
Improved timeout error messaging so users now see clear queue/timeout reasons instead of “Timed out after n minutes” message when jobs exceed the queue timeout.
In Vizpads, fixed the issue where selective filter's “Applied To” chart count did not update after removing a chart.
In Kaiya, resumed thumbs-up/down feedback for each Kaiya response, with optional written comments (up to 1000 characters).
In Kaiya, agentic workflows now always use the new guided experience, so workflows run consistently without the older “Yes/No” confirmation step.
We improved our underlying data engine to ensure faster query performance and more reliable access to Business Views.
Improved how Kaiya handles metadata (such as descriptions, column names, and values) when prompts contain special characters.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where column-level filters on some calculated columns could incorrectly return NULL values.
In Vizpads, improved import so color palettes and custom calendars are matched by name across environments, with a clear error message if a referenced palette or calendar isn’t available.
Under Data → Connect, fixed an issue that caused JSON uploads with certain structures to fail during loading; those files now import correctly.
Optimized Kaiya’s query generation to reduce latency and make repeated questions respond faster and more efficiently.
