Patch 6.0.3

This release brings a set of focused usability and reliability upgrades across Kaiya, Vizpads, Search, and Notifications. You can now centrally manage Kaiya’s web search and LangSmith integrations, mask Snowflake private keys, and rely on more accurate numeric summaries and Deep Insights outputs.

📈 Enhancements

Toggles for Kaiya Web Search & LangSmith Observability

Under Settings → Advanced → Kaiya, added admin controls to enable web search and LangSmith integration, including configuring endpoints and API keys.

Enable Kaiya Web Search

When this is turned on, Kaiya can use real-time web search to answer questions that need external or latest information. When it’s off, Kaiya will answer only from your connected data and metadata. You’ll need to enter a valid Exa API Key for this to work.

  • Let Kaiya answer questions your data doesn’t contain, like market definitions, public benchmarks, or generic “what is / how to” queries.

  • Get up-to-date info (e.g., “recent FDA approvals”)

  • Create richer, mixed answers where Kaiya can combine your internal metrics with external context (e.g., “our sales vs industry outlook this year”).

Enable Kaiya LangSmith Integration

Enabling this sends Kaiya’s traces, prompts, and responses to your configured LangSmith project so you can debug, monitor, and evaluate conversations. It does not change what end-users see, but provides deeper observability for your AI workflows. Requires a LangSmith endpoint, project name, and API key.

  • Debug problem conversations easily by seeing the full trace: prompts, intermediate steps, and model outputs in LangSmith.

  • Monitor quality over time. Review traces, spot patterns in failures or weak answers, and improve prompts / configurations.

  • Run evaluations and experiments safely (A/B different prompts, models, or settings) using LangSmith’s tooling, without changing what end users see.

Metric Switcher for Calculated Columns

In Vizpads, added full support for using calculated columns with the metric switcher, so you can switch metrics (including both row- and column-level calculated metrics) on charts and tables without errors. It respects their default aggregation and lets you change the aggregate only for column-level calculated metrics where it’s safe to do so.

🛠️ Minor fixes

  1. Under Notifications, improved performance of the Synchronous jobs list by eliminating duplicate background requests.

  2. Under Data → Connect → Snowflake, the Private Key field for key-pair authentication is now masked like a password to keep credentials hidden while you type.

  3. In Vizpads, fixed the issue with switching metrics on Bar Conversion charts.

  4. Under On-demand and Advanced tabs in Notifications, fixed an issue where Job Creation Date showed the viewer’s current browser time instead of the actual job creation time.

  5. Under Data → Prepare → Data, fixed a layout issue that added unnecessary white space and an extra scroll bar around datasets.

  6. In Vizpads → Refresh, fixed an issue where some valid email addresses did not appear in the lookup and couldn’t be added as recipients when email notifications were enabled.

  7. Improved Kaiya’s loading behavior so responses now appear more consistently in the conversation window, after you submitted a question.

  8. In Kaiya Deep Insights, improved how data context is passed into workflows so predictive analyses use the correct dimension values and return more complete, accurate results.

  9. In Kaiya Deep Insights, fixed a layout issue where expanding or collapsing long step descriptions could stretch the summary and charts, content now stays contained and scrollable within the panel.

  10. Improved Kaiya’s numeric summaries so totals and counts are taken directly from query results, keeping callouts consistent with the underlying tables and charts.

  11. In Search, optimized live connectivity so it runs only while you’re on the Search page and shows the blue banner “Unable to connect to Tellius services” only when there’s an actual ongoing problem.

  12. In Kaiya Deep Insights, fixed the issue where some Deep Insights summaries could render the same chart twice; each visualization now appears only once in the summary.

  13. Under Data → Business View → Calendar, when you change the calendar and click Save, the new custom calendar is now applied immediately across the UI and in Kaiya, without requiring any background refresh.

  14. In Vizpads, fixed PPT/PDF export so each slide now correctly uses the matching tab name, filters, and charts (whether you export a single tab, cloned tab, or all tabs), preserving the original tab order and layout.

  15. Refined Vizpad loading behavior so the “Vizpad is loading” progress bar now completes as soon as all charts on a tab are rendered, even when you quickly switch between tabs.
