Patch 6.1.0.1
6.1.0.1 is a stability and quality patch across Kaiya, Vizpads, and the Data module. It improves Kaiya accuracy and follow-up consistency, strengthens Vizpad filtering and table behavior, and smoothens Data module workflows like connectors, Business Views, and scheduled refresh.
🛠️ Minor fixes
Under Data → Business View, fixed an issue with renaming a Live Business View when the Business View included dynamic query formulas.
In Kaiya, fixed the issue with execution status updates (like routing, validation, and SQL generation), especially after switching modules.
Under Data → Connect, fixed the issue with connector search not returning results for certain connectors.
In Data, fixed the issue with Prediction, Refresh, and Publish (Business View) actions being enabled when you switched to a specific user view in Prepare / Business View.
Fixed the issue with Deep Insights generating an analysis for inputs that aren’t analytical questions (for example, a pasted URL), so Kaiya now recognizes unsupported inputs and guides you to ask a valid analysis question for more relevant results.
In Vizpads, fixed the issue with embedded control filters not honoring row-level security (RLP) policies, so filter values now show only the organizations a user is permitted to see.
In Data, updated helper text on the “Add New Connectors” and “Add Dataset” screens to make the setup experience clearer and more consistent.
In Insights, fixed the issue with the Business View selector not consistently showing the Search option.
Under Data → Connect, fixed the issue with selecting certain connectors opening the wrong connector setup flow.
Under Data → Prepare, fixed the issue with Scheduled Refresh start times displaying in the original creation time zone instead of your current browser/local time zone.
Under Data → Connect, fixed the issue with connector search not showing a clear empty state when no results match, so you now see a helpful placeholder message.
In Vizpads, fixed the issue with the multi-sort column selector in table view mode not showing a scroll bar.
In Kaiya, fixed the issue with not persisting the auto-selected Business View after you navigated away and returned, so when you have only one available Business View (or when switching between chats), the Business View selection is automatically retained.
In Kaiya, fixed the issue with Kaiya’s Summary responses using Markdown formatting in Deepgram version of text-to-speech, so summaries are now delivered as clean plain text for a more natural, human-like voice experience.
In Vizpads, fixed the issue with hidden Business View columns appearing in Tab-level filter column selection.
In Vizpads, fixed the issue where changing the selected column for a single-select control filter could cause a temporary “inconsistent filter” state.
In Kaiya, fixed the issue where custom Business View calendars were not fully respected in date logic, now year and week periods now follow your configured calendar settings.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where switching the range slider operator (e.g., Inbetween → Greater than / Less than) could trigger an error due to an invalid filter condition format.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where smart dual-axis wasn’t enabled by default for Kaiya charts with two measures, causing the secondary measure to show only in tooltips.
Under Data, fixed an intermittent issue where the “Select user” dropdown could appear empty during superuser impersonation.
In Kaiya results, improved how Business View formatting rules are applied, so numbers and metrics follow your configured display formats consistently.
Added support for Google Cloud Key Management Service (Cloud KMS) as an encryption key provider, giving security teams more flexibility to manage and protect encryption keys.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where “change” and comparison questions could render charts using raw values instead of the intended change/comparison output (derived values).
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where generated queries didn’t respect the default aggregation configured in the Business View metadata.
In Kaiya Web Search mode, improved how selected anchors are used, so answers stay more focused on the sources you chose.
Improved reliability for Python-powered analyses, ensuring auto-recovery and results complete smoothly without manual retries.
In Kaiya Deep Insights mode, fixed an issue so the follow-ups keep the same analysis approach when filters change, making results easier to compare.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where some charts did not refresh correctly when control filters were applied.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where scrolling the conversations could jump back to the bottom while reviewing earlier queries.
Fixed the issue with Feed titles not updating when metric configuration changes, especially for Feeds created from Vizpad.
In Vizpad tables, fixed an issue where column-level calculated measures (ex: Absolute Change) could show incorrect results in tables when additional dimensions (like "City") were included.
We’ve added workflow orchestration to help Kaiya plan, run, and manage multi-step tasks with better consistency, sequencing, and outcomes.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where queries using a custom calendar could return empty results due to case-sensitive mismatches.
Under Data → Connect, improved the data source listing page layout by clearly separating Connectors and Datasets, making it easier to browse, search, and manage the right source type.
When you trigger an Insight from an anomaly point in a Vizpad chart, Kaiya now honors the same filters applied to the Vizpad (including tab filters, global filters, and control filters), so that anomaly-driven Insights match exactly what you’re seeing on the chart.
