Patch 6.1.0.5

6.1.0.5 brings major speed and usability improvements across Kaiya and Vizpads. Kaiya responses are faster and clearer, Vizpads embeds/sharing are more stable, and we’ve tightened time/calendar behavior and feedback—so users see the right results sooner.

📈 Enhancement

Built a Semantic Cache for Text2SQL to speed up repeat or similar questions by reusing previously validated SQL results. For new standalone queries, Kaiya first checks for a close match and adapts it when possible, falling back to the full generation flow only when needed. Caching is opt-in via thumbs-up feedback.

🛠️ Minor fixes

  1. In Vizpads, added support for using Dynamic Match in HAVING filters to enable flexible post-aggregation filtering (e.g., table totals and summary conditions).

  2. Enhanced Kaiya conversation rendering for chart-heavy conversations, so scrolling stays smooth and the chat view remains consistently visible.

  3. Improved Custom Calendar support in Kaiya, so fiscal week/year settings are applied consistently and weekly/date-based queries align with your organization’s calendar. This improves accuracy of time-based results across supported warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse).

  4. Fixed an issue where the “Vizpad is loading…” progress bar could remain visible even after charts finished loading or filters were successfully applied, especially in complex filter/tab scenarios.

  5. Clarifications are now easier to answer: when Kaiya needs disambiguation (e.g., multiple matching fields/values), it lists numbered choices so you can reply with a single selection and continue.

  6. Fixed an issue where Feed alert emails for user groups could show the same username/email for multiple recipients; emails now correctly personalize recipient details per user.

  7. In Vizpads, fixed an issue where Drill/Keep/Remove actions (especially with Bulk Apply enabled) could still show “Apply filter changes” and the “Vizpad is loading…” bar even after filters were applied.

  8. In Vizpad alert emails, removed the "[SUCCESS]" (and other status banners) from the email subject/body, so alerts use a clean report title by default.

  9. Fixed an issue where Feed alerts using report-level calculated columns could fail validation due to inconsistent metric values across evaluations.

  10. Improved Fast Query Engine configuration so the selected setting is applied on page load, ensuring consistent performance without extra steps.

  11. Fixed the issue where a Vizpad’s Default Custom View would load without Viz-level filters a few seconds after reopening.

  12. Fixed the issue by reorganizing date-handling and database-dialect logic across all Kaiya prompts, so prompts stay consistent and generate the right SQL syntax per warehouse (across Snowflake, Redshift, and ClickHouse).

  13. Fixed the issue where logging in via SAML from a Kaiya embedded chat link could incorrectly grant access beyond the intended embed experience. Access is now restricted to the Kaiya embed route only, and other modules remain blocked unless the user has explicit permissions.

  14. Fixed the UX issues with Kaiya scheduled workflow creation and selection. Also improved clarity for empty states by adding a tooltip for “Subscribe to Existing Schedule” (only works when a schedule exists).

  15. Resolved the issue with intermittent 500 errors observed when Vizpads are accessed via embedded links, especially after applying dropdown filters.

  16. Fixed the issue where Kaiya Text2SQL-related charts ignored the "Use weekend date by default" setting for weekly time labels. When the toggle is enabled, weekly labels now show Week Ending Date; when disabled, charts display the Week Number instead.

  17. Fixed a Vizpad sharing error caused by stale/deleted Business View (BV) IDs still referenced inside a Vizpad after BV/User deletion. Vizpads now filter out invalid BV IDs before sharing/sync.

  18. In Vizpads, fixed an issue where previously removed columns could reappear in the chart bucket list when users changed aggregation or number formatting.

  19. In Vizpads, updated KPI chart legends when a Date Comparison filter is applied to use clearer, shorter wording. The prior-period series label now displays as “Units for – preceding Quarter QTD”.

  20. In Kaiya, added support for scheduling agentic workflows, enabling users to create and manage scheduled runs for agentic workflows.

  21. Clarifying questions now preserve and apply the right dimension filters during multi-step conversations, improving accuracy in follow-up prompts (including High/Low mode).

  22. Kaiya conversations now shows the Thought Process (brief reasoning explanation) even for direct, straightforward queries.
