Custom SQL

Hardik Chheda Updated by Hardik Chheda

Custom SQL is an option by which you write your own query to connect to one or more tables from the connected datasource and get the data.

The option appears, when you specify the datasource connection details and browse the specified host.

On the Custom SQL tab, perform the following:

  1. In the Table filter field, enter the text by which you want to filter the tables from the selected datasource.
The drop-down below the Table filter is updated with matching tables.
  2. In the Query field, enter your query.
Refer the table list to know the available tables.
  3. Click the Preview button to view the query result.
