Edit Insights

Each insight has various criteria that are can be edited to create a new insight or to replace the existing insight.

Segment Drivers, Trend Drivers, and Discovers all have columns you can include or exclude certain columns to target the specific data you want to find deeper insights for.

On the Insights page, click the Edit icon in the right panel.

The Discover Edit panel opens with the following fields where you can change the values to edit the insight.

  • What drives: The field that you want to use as the driving factor for comparison insight.
  • Included/ Excluded: The columns that you want to include or exclude in the insight. Select the appropriate option and drag the columns from the business view panel to the field.
  • For: The filter condition that you want to apply when changing the insight.
  • Using: How much percentage of data you want to use to drive the insight.

Along with the Discovery Edit panel, the business view panel also opens with list of columns that you can replace in the Discovery Edit panel.

Drag the required columns from the business view panel to the Discovery Edit panel in the respective area.

After making all required changes in the Discovery Edit panel, Click Replace to edit the same insight or click the Create New button to create a new insight.
