Patches 5.4.1.1 and 5.4.1.2
The 5.4.1.1 and 5.4.1.2 patch releases deliver key enhancements and stability improvements across Kaiya and Vizpads. These updates address critical issues with time filters, pagination, deduplication handling, Business View configurations, and universal search reliability.
5.4.1.1
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where “change” queries using a single time filter (e.g., "change in market share over the last 13 weeks") were failing to return results.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where Week Year and Week Number filters did not function correctly in live (non-deduplicated) datasets when the Business View column had an alias applied.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where time-based filters with operators like "contains" or "=" were misinterpreted.
The response to Kaiya’s Terms & Conditions is now cleared on logout, ensuring that new users are correctly prompted for consent upon login.
Fixed an issue where starter questions in Kaiya were not loading or displaying correctly.
Fixed an issue where the deduplication flag was not being passed during Business View creation or edits.
Fixed column grouping UI issues across Search, Vizpad, and Kaiya—added scroll support for large group lists and improved handling of long column names to prevent overlap.
Improved Kaiya’s ability to recognize cohort-based Insight questions, even when partial details are provided.
In Vizpads, fixed multiple pagination-related issues across charts. Switching chart types, applying filters, or cloning charts now resets pagination correctly to the first page.
Fixed an issue where Universal Search was not returning results due to stale or uninitialized cache.
Fixed an issue where editing a Project resulted in an internal server error.
5.4.1.2
Fixed an issue where multiple time filters in a single query were incorrectly combined, resulting in an error message.
The “Generate Summary” button on the Insights page will now be shown only when the Kaiya module is enabled.
Users can now initiate a fresh conversation using intuitive phrases like “start over,” “clear chat,” “forget everything,” “new conversation”, and “reset context”.
Resolved an issue in Universal Search where valid users were incorrectly shown a "User not found" error due to uninitialized cache states.
In Kaiya, added support for including query-specific instructions directly within prompt configurations.
When embedding Kaiya, fixed an issue where embedded URLs without Direct Access failed to authenticate, ensuring proper login flow for both signed and unassigned links.
In Kaiya, added summary support for Comparison Driver Insights, allowing users to view natural language explanations of differences between metrics across groups.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where time resolution (e.g., Monthly) was not retained when generating charts for comparison queries.
Added support for automatically synchronizing user groups via LDAP integration.
In Kaiya, fixed the issue where Metadata and Preamble sections showed raw column names instead of display names.
In the Help us learn section of Search, fixed the issue where updating learnings became unresponsive after renaming columns, ensuring dimension changes are now correctly recognized.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where Comparison Cohort Insights were not generated.
Fixed an issue where Kaiya queries failed when referenced columns were removed or hidden during Business View updates.
Fixed an issue where users were unable to access embedded links inside iFrames when using standard login.
Introduced caching for intent detection to reduce repeat query time, improving Kaiya’s performance and responsiveness.
Kaiya now shows chart results faster by loading the reasoning (Preamble) separately in the background, improving response times by up to 30%.
