Patch 5.5.2
This 5.2.2 patch delivers a series of critical fixes for enhancing overall stability, performance, and user experience. The update focuses on strengthening core functionalities across Kaiya, Vizpads, Insights, Data Management, and Search, designed to save you time and reduce friction in your day-to-day analysis.
🛠️ Minor fixes
Fixed an issue where indexing jobs for live datasets and Business Views were failing because the system was trying to process the entire dataset.
Fixed an issue where indexing used the Business View column names instead of the original dataset column names, causing mismatches in Kaiya's search-based dimension filters.
In Kaiya, fixed follow-up handling to prevent unnecessary repeat executions and ensure smoother conversational flow.
Fixed an issue where shared Business Views were not correctly recognized during dynamic match creation and validation.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue by standardizing aggregation and change type handling to ensure consistent interpretation of comparative keywords, percentage change queries, and time references.
Fixed an issue where tooltip and rendering of pinned Rich KPI charts displayed on the homepage.
Enhanced error handling across the application to display clearer messages and provide users with a “View Details” option when issues occur.
Fixed an issue where tab summaries failed to generate when a Rich KPI chart was present in the Vizpad.
In Vizpads, fixed an issue where Kaiya-generated summaries appeared as loading or were missing in exported PDF reports, even when fully rendered on product.
Enhanced the data import flow to clearly display specific error messages when dataset/Business View column mismatches occur during mapping, making it easier for users to understand and resolve configuration issues.
Refined the metadata migration flow to exclude unsupported custom calendar mappings during export.
Under Data → Connect, fixed table search to dynamically query the datasource (e.g., Snowflake) when table count exceeds the preload limit, ensuring accurate results during operations like Custom Calendar mapping.
Fixed an issue where filters on measures were misclassified when applied to the same column used as the main metric, and enhanced the new interpretation engine to accurately support such queries, including proper handling of time filters using operators like > and <.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where saved Phrase Learnings used internal column names instead of display names.
In Kaiya → Query Learnings, added tooltips for the Intent field when adding and editing a Learning.
Under Settings → Embed → Search, fixed an issue where embedded search URLs could allow unauthorized access to unintended Business Views by enforcing strict validation in the search embed flow.
In Kaiya, fixed an issue where grouped fields were incorrectly treated as filters, leading to unnecessary clarification prompts.
Users are now redirected to an error page when core configuration services are unavailable.
Optimized performance for fiscal calendar-based queries in Search and Insights, especially when applying time filters in Vizpads.
In Vizpads, addressed an issue in the Excel export where certain columns were missing—especially those involving multiple absolute change aggregations.
Improved the loading experience in Vizpads by ensuring appropriate loaders or messaging (“Chart is loading” or “Chart is in the queue”) are consistently shown while switching or opening tabs.
Under Settings → Application Settings → Data Index, fixed the issue where selected datasets or views couldn’t be cleared easily—users can now cancel selections, switch datasets without re-clearing search fields.
Fixed an issue where updates to the LLM configuration were not reflected during Kaiya Summary generation in Insights.
Fixed the issue where charts in Vizpads showed empty placeholders instead of indicating whether they were still loading or in queue when switching or opening tabs.
In Vizpads, improved the multi-fact join error message to clearly indicate when deduplication is disabled, helping users understand the cause and next steps more effectively.
In Insights, fixed an issue where users were able to edit Insights after switching the connection type between live and non-live.
When selecting a custom date range in Insights, a helpful error message will be displayed if either the start or end date is missing.
In Vizpads, when a chart request times out or fails to connect, users will now see a clear timeout message on the chart and a global notification.
Fixed an issue where, after publishing, archiving, unarchiving, or refreshing a dataset and returning from Notifications, the dataset page showed an incorrect loading state.
Under Data → Business View → Calculated Columns, fixed an issue where newly created formulas referencing existing calculated columns (nested formulae) weren't being properly saved or validated.
Fixed an issue where live Trend and Comparison Insights did not show the "Live" tag, ensuring users can now quickly distinguish live Insights.
Resolved an issue where tooltips for aggregation options (like Market Share, Average etc.) in the Trend Insight creation flow displayed incorrect or placeholder text.
Fixed Kaiya and Search page stability by ensuring that if an individual chart fails to load, only that chart shows an error while the rest of the page continues to function seamlessly.
If an Insight step fails to trigger within an Agentic workflow, a proper failure message will now be displayed.
Fixed the issue with the display of "Number of rows analyzed" for the previous time period in Insights generated on live and deduplication-enabled Business Views.
Under Data → Business Views, fixed an issue where calendar selections in edit mode were incorrectly auto-saved; now, calendar mapping is only saved upon publishing, while in view mode it continues to auto-save as expected.
To ensure you’re seeing the latest updates, a refresh prompt will now appear whenever a new version is available.
